About this service

What is skin teleconsultation?

Skin teleconsultation is a scheduled video consultation with one of our doctors via Google Meet. It is suitable for selected non-emergency skin concerns where a physical examination is not required for safe assessment.

This is a clinical service. Medical advice will be given during the scheduled consultation only not through WhatsApp chat. WhatsApp is used for admin communication such as booking confirmation, photo submission, payment, and receiving your Google Meet link.

Is this suitable for you?

This service may be appropriate if you have:

•Dry, itchy, or sensitive skin
•Mild eczema flare
•Reaction to skincare products
•Acne review
•Pigmentation concern
•Scalp itch or dandruff
•Skincare routine review
•Follow-up for the same concern

The doctor will assess suitability before the consultation begins. A clinic visit may be advised if the condition cannot be safely assessed online.

Safety

Not suitable for teleconsultation

Do not book a teleconsultation if you are experiencing any of the following:

Seek urgent medical attention immediately for:

  • Severe swelling
  • Severe or spreading pain

  • Rapidly spreading redness
  • Pus or severe infection
  • Eye pain or vision changes

If your concern is new, different, or unrelated to the previous consultation, it will be charged as a new consultation at RM60. Medication, skincare products, delivery fees, and procedures are charged separately where applicable.
Process

How the booking works

Message us on WhatsApp

Tap the WhatsApp button on this page to open a chat with the clinic and start your enquiry.

Answer the WhatsApp questionnaire

We will send a short set of questions in the chat. Fill in your details and describe your skin concern.

Send clear photos

Attach at least 3 clear, well lit photos of the affected area. Clear photos help the doctor assess whether teleconsultation is suitable.

Clinic confirms suitability

Our doctor reviews your answers and photos to confirm that your concern is appropriate for teleconsultation. If the photos are not clear enough, we may ask for new ones.

Book your slot via Calendly

Once your concern is confirmed as suitable, we send a Calendly link. Choose a date and time that works for you.

Make payment

We send a payment link via WhatsApp. Payment must be completed before the Google Meet link is issued. RM60 for new, RM45 for follow-up.

Receive your Google Meet link

Once payment is confirmed, the clinic will send your Google Meet consultation link via WhatsApp.

Attend your consultation

Join the Google Meet at your scheduled time. Medical advice will be given during the consultation by Dr Segar or Dr Kaveri.

Medication or products, if applicable

If needed, the clinic will send a quotation for medication, skincare products, and delivery. A separate payment link will be sent for these items.

WhatsApp is for enquiry and admin, not medical advice. Use it to start your enquiry, answer the questionnaire, book your slot, complete payment, and get your Google Meet link. Medical advice is given during your scheduled video consultation, not through WhatsApp chat.
Important information

Terms and conditions

Your appointment is confirmed only after the questionnaire, relevant photos, and payment have been completed.
Payment must be completed before the Google Meet link is issued. The consultation will not proceed without prior payment.
The consultation fee is non-refundable once payment is made. However, the fee will be refunded if the doctor cancels the consultation.

Technical issues: If the consultation cannot proceed due to clinic-side technical issues, the clinic will offer rescheduling or a refund. If the issue is from the patient's side, the clinic may offer rescheduling at its discretion.
Late arrival may reduce the available consultation time. The session will end at the scheduled time.
The doctor may advise a clinic visit if the condition cannot be safely or accurately assessed through teleconsultation.
Consultation fee does not include medication, skincare products, delivery fees, tests, procedures, or in-clinic treatment. These are charged separately where applicable.
Follow-up fee of RM45 applies for the same skin concern. Different or new concerns are charged at RM60.
Medical advice is provided during the scheduled video consultation only, not through WhatsApp or other messaging channels.
Consent and privacy

How your information is used

By proceeding with this booking, you consent to an online video consultation and acknowledge its limitations as compared to an in-person clinical examination.

Your personal information, medical details, and photos are collected for the purposes of consultation, medical record keeping, treatment planning, payment processing, and follow-up care. Records are documented in our clinic system.
